I'm a UX Designer driven by curiosity and a passion for making complex ideas simple.
About me
I'm a UX designer with a strong foundation in research, service design, and product development, experienced in working within complex and regulated environments. I specialise in translating user insights, data, and system complexity into clear, scalable solutions that create real value in practice.
I work end-to-end across the design process, from uncovering needs and mapping problem spaces to prototyping, testing, and aligning stakeholders. My approach is iterative, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that the best solutions emerge when insight, technology, and human context are deeply connected.
My toolkit

One of Denmark's most respected strategic communications agencies. A place where sharp thinking and creative output are expected in equal measure, working across a broad client portfolio that spans complex briefs, diverse stakeholders, and the full spectrum of digital experience design.
Working end-to-end across the full design process, translating business needs into user journeys, flows, and production-ready designs in Figma. Facilitated discovery sessions, rapid prototyping, and validation, while maintaining consistent design systems and collaborating closely with developers to ensure technically aligned delivery.
A place where design decisions carry real weight. Within Novo Nordisk's Digital Health Solutions division, every interface touches the lives of patients living with chronic illness. It is the kind of environment that sharpens a designer's sense of responsibility. Clarity, empathy, and rigour are not optional here.
Conducted user research to uncover patient and clinician needs, then transformed insights into prototypes and service blueprints that simplified complex healthcare flows. Designed and tested high-fidelity solutions in Figma, facilitated alignment workshops, and collaborated across product, development, and business teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly outcomes.
A digital agency built on the belief that creativity and technology belong together. C+T stands for Charlie Tango. A culture that pushes designers to think deeply about both the experience and the craft behind it, building user-centred products for companies that want to genuinely excel in the digital space.
Planned and executed digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, applying user-centred thinking to strengthen engagement and brand consistency. Translated user data and feedback into targeted campaigns and led networking events, ensuring cohesive experiences across both digital and physical touchpoints.
The national home of design thinking in Denmark. DDC operates at the frontier where design meets policy, business, and social change. A rare environment that broadened the lens from screen-level design to systemic, society-level impact, and deepened the understanding of what design can actually do in the world.
Contributed to the Digital Ethics Compass for Danish SMEs, co-designing tools that help organisations integrate ethics into digital transformation. Conducted research on youth belonging and digital trust, assisted in technology-focused workshops, and supported the Service Design Global Conference 2022 by optimising the hybrid experience for over 900 participants.
A fast-moving Copenhagen company at the crossroads of sports science and digital ambition. At PerformanceLab the challenge was to translate a high-performance philosophy into a compelling digital presence, building brand voice and reach for a company that takes results as seriously as its athletes do.
Independently owned the full marketing function in an early-stage startup context, covering content planning, social media, SEO, newsletters, and website optimisation. The role required a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and the ability to move quickly from strategy to execution.
A Copenhagen original. Solar-powered boats, harbour views, and a brand beloved by locals and tourists alike. GoBoat was a formative early experience: a growing company where digital contribution was visible and immediate, and where every piece of content fed directly into real customer journeys on the water.
Optimised the company website with a focus on sales growth and improved user experience, and planned and facilitated usability tests to identify friction and sharpen user flows. Also contributed to product development including a children's activity kit, and produced digital marketing content to strengthen brand presence and engagement.
ITU is where design and technology are studied as inseparable. Sitting at the intersection of the two, it attracts people who want to understand not just how to build things digitally, but why, for whom, and with what consequences. It sharpened a way of thinking that goes beyond screens.
Specialising in UX for AI and Machine Learning, with a thesis titled "Digital Support in Crisis: A Value Oriented Study of Design in an Unfair Healthcare System". The programme built strong skills in qualitative research, critical analysis, prototyping, and data-driven design, preparing for work that creates real value in both academic and professional contexts.
A school built around doing, not just learning. KEA bridges creative instinct and technical capability in a way that mirrors real professional practice. Collaborative, industry-connected, and grounded in projects from day one. The kind of place that builds confidence as fast as it builds skills.
A practice-oriented degree grounded in real-world projects with external partners. The bachelor project examined ethics as an integral part of digital infrastructure. An exchange semester in Paris broadened the international design perspective, and an internship at DDC brought innovation theory directly into professional practice.
The starting point. Cphbusiness provided an early grounding in how businesses communicate, grow, and reach people. A foundation that later informed the way design is approached not just as an aesthetic exercise, but as a strategic and commercial one.
Developed strategic marketing and sales skills through hands-on market analysis, customer journey mapping, and competitive research. Built tactical expertise in crafting and executing marketing strategies, CRM, and digital campaigns, with practical modules in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media translating theory into real-world execution.

Testimonials
I would like to share my recommendation of Oliver as a talented designer and as a pleasant, service-minded and collaborative individual, who even before his graduation has managed to make a true impact in a high-pace environment, and I am sure he will continue to do so wherever he goes.
Oliver has, during his time in DDC, acquired practice-oriented skills in design thinking and design processes. He works in an exploratory manner and approaches new tasks with curiosity and engagement. Throughout his time, he has developed his skills in creative idea generation. He is something of a Swiss Army knife, able to take on a wide variety of tasks and succeed with them. He works independently, responsibly, and efficiently.
On top of his strong design competencies, Oliver is a productive and reliable individual where there is short way from idea to deliverable, which has allowed us to quickly test concepts and concrete designs with internal stakeholders and users.
Oliver has worked with great dedication during his time at GoBoat. He has successfully handled tasks both independently and in close collaboration with others. In both cases, Oliver is proactive and delivers high-quality work. He actively seeks feedback to improve outcomes and is able to turn ideas into execution. At the same time, he is always open to constructive criticism.
